Direct Flights to Bangalore
The Indian airline Kingfisher, based in Bangalore, introduced in September
2008 its daily flight service between Bangalore and London Heathrow. This
new Bangalore route puts it in direct competition with the British Airways’
daily service from London Heathrow UK. Kingfisher Airlines offer three unique
classes of service - Kingfisher First (Business class), Kingfisher Class
(Premium economy), and Kingfisher Red (Low fare).
There are currently no other airlines operating direct flights between Bangalore
and London Heathrow.
Other UK to Bangalore Flight Options
British Airways fly out of Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow but these flights
include a change at London Heathrow. Indirect flights to Bangalore are readily
available from either UK regional or London city airports via other European
cities. These include Paris with Air France, Frankfurt with Lufthansa, or
Amsterdam with KLM.
An often cheaper and more favourable alternative can usually be found with
flights via the Middle East and the Gulf States. Emirates' and Gulf Air
are considered by many to be the most popular.
