of name has not been adopted as readily as Bombay’s renaming to Mumbai.

is with British Airways. That is London Heathrow, to Chennai Madras International airport
British Airways also fly to Chennai from Aberdeen, Edinburgh
and Glasgow, but these flights include a change at London Heathrow.
Other UK to Chennai Flight Options
As with most destinations in
India, flights are readily available via other European cities, the middle

Chennai
A Flight to Chennai will transport you to a unique and fascinating
travel destination. Chennai is the fourth-largest city in India and in it's
colonial days, was known as Madras. The International airport still bears
this name. Chennai, being a large commercial city, is the centre of the
area's air, rail and road networks and so can be a good starting point for
exploring the south.
