Direct Flights to Hyderabad
British Airways launched a new flight service to Hyderabad from London Heathrow in 2008. There are however no other airlines offering direct flights to the Andhra Pradesh capital from the UK.

British Airways also fly to Hyderabad from Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, but these flights include a change at London Heathrow.

Other UK to Hyderabad Flight Options
There are plenty of flights to be found from most UK regional or London airports that involve a stop en-route. These will be via other European cities, such as Paris with Air France, Frankfurt with Lufthansa, or Amsterdam with KLM. Often a cheaper and more favourable alternative, is to be found with flights via the Middle East and the Gulf States. We find that Emirates', Etihad, and Gulf Air are currently the most popular.

The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, is a new airport located near to Shamshabad, about 22 km (14 miles) from the city of Hyderabad and 25 km (19 miles) from Begumpet. The airport began operations on 23rd March 2008 replacing the former international airport of Begumpet. It handles both domestic and international flights.
